The Italian Association for the Study of Comparative Economic Systems (AISSEC) will hold its XXI Scientific Conference in Urbino, at the Department of Economics, Society, Politics (University of Urbino "Carlo Bo").
As usual, the Conference focuses on the mission of the Association, the comparison of economic systems, and the key-topics of the XXI edition are the economic and social inequalities under a comparative perspective, including inequalities within and between countries, world global inequalities, intergenerational inequalities, wage inequalities and the functional distribution of income.
However, submissions dealing with both theoretical and applied research on economic development in general (e.g., micro and macroeconomics for inclusive growth and development, global value chains, innovation, environmental issues, etc.) are also welcome. Young researchers and Ph.D. students are encouraged to apply and special fees will be accorded to them.
Confirmed keynote speakers are Joseph Stiglitz, Carlos De La Torre.
The Conference is organized in partnership with the Turin Centre on Emerging Economies (OEET) Collegio Carlo Alberto.
Abstracts (500 words) should be submitted by March 15, 2020 , to aissec.org@gmail.com, also indicating to which of the three sessions your paper better applies. Submissions will undergo a regular peer review process.
Biennial AISSEC membership: 50 Euro.
No other fees are requested.
